Madhavaram, 10 April 2018: There were number of Eucharist Celebrations held on 10th April 2018 throughout the day during which the devotees from various parishes in Chennai participated. The Celebrants and the Preachers continued to dwell on the theme of holiness inviting the people to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ. The friars and people gathered around the flagpole at 5.30 PM for the dehoisting of the Flag. Br. Praveen lowered the flag which was then carried in a procession to the altar. Hundred of devoted thronged to touch the flag. Having set the flag for the veneration, the thanksgiving Eucharist began. It was presided over by Br Simon and the Parish Team. Br. Simon during his homily invited the people to imitate the Christian Life of early believers mentioned in the Acts. He also recalled the life of St. Sebastian and the miracles that had taken place here in Madhavaram. After the Eucharist, Br. Simon thanked everyone for his or her contribution towards the Feast Day preparations.
