31 May, Palmaner: Ten young men, having lived a year of Novitate under the accompaniment of the Holy Spirit and the guidance of Br Charles A, Guardian and Novice Master and the formators, surrendered themselves to Jesus Christ in the footprints of St Francis of Assisi by making their first profession. In a solemn Eucharist that was presided over by Br Praveen, the Minister Provincial and concelebrated by Br Carlos Dias, the Custos, ten novices proclaimed loudly that they were ready and willing to take another step in their life journey as friars minor. It was indeed inspiring to listen to the motto of each novice which he would like to live up to throughout his life as a friar minor. The celebration was witnessed by the friars, new novices, aspirants, religious and friends of the friars.
