Blessing and Inauguration of Aspirancy in the Foundation

25 July 2018, Salbari: We share with you the good news of long awaited dream come true, that is, the Formation House (Aspirancy) in the Foundation. Friar Praveen D' Souza OFM, Our provincial blessed and inaugurated the Aspirancy block in St. Clare of Assisi Friary on 23rd July 2018. It was a memorable moment in the history of St. Francis of Assisi Mission Foundation, North East India to have a formation house for the first time. Friar Praveen in his homily during the Eucharistic celebration called upon the friars to go on giving witness to the Gospel in word and deed thus promote vocation to the Franciscan way of life. He thanked all the friars working in the Foundation for their hard work in the mission. There are 5 Aspirants from different parts of North East (two Mizos, two Garos and one Adivasi). Friar Francis Arokiasamy has been appointed as the Director to form the candidates. We wish the Friars and the candidates God's blessings.
