Regency Part The Monetized Mode Of Work

My regency program began on 25thJune, 2021 at theSt. Anthony’s friary, North Guwahati. I was engaged in helping out in profiling of the documents in the manager’s office, working in the school library, looking after the school building construction, and working in the school canteen, in the construction of one a poor lady’s house, in the renovation of the flower garden at the friary, and going for parish ministry, and marketing as well. Along with the friars I went for the distribution of the Covid relief materials in the villages. going. I also took some classes for the brothers in order to familiarise them with various topics like that of Saints, Confirmation, and the Bible and I was also taking Sunday catechism classes for the children. We also organized football matches for the Garo village boys in order to familiarise ourselves with the youth and to have good rapport with them. I also joined the team of evaluators for the cribs in North Guwahati parish. I also taught music to the brothers and played for them at the liturgical celebrations. I organized the brothers for their cultural programs and gave them practice particularly those brothers who need more fluency in their speaking and writing. There was a good opportunity for me to conduct a Bible quiz for all the brothers in Salbari. Apart from the work I did, I also visited some places like the Bongaigaon Bishop’s house, Nongiri, Shilong, the Bhutan border, Baganpara and Cherrapungi.

I did my regency for almost nine months. Regency wasa time where I could discover both my abilities and inabilities and so enhances my skills. Finally, I could say that it was a unique experience for me. Today, these very experiences have made me more self-confident.
