Province Annual Retreats Conclude with Spiritual Renewal

The Province successfully concluded its two Annual Retreats for the friars, moments of grace and fraternity that marked the journey of this year.

The First Annual Retreat was held from 4–9 August 2025, while the Second Annual Retreat took place from 1–6 September 2025 at St. Louis Friary, Palamaner. Both retreats were preached by Fr. Tony D’Souza, SJ, Director of Premanjali Counselling Services.

Drawing from more than three decades of experience as a counselor and therapist, Fr. Tony enriched the friars with his wisdom, depth, and practical insights. His sessions combined psychological clarity with spiritual grounding, offering the friars a path to greater wholeness in their vocation.

The days of silence, prayer, and reflection allowed the friars to encounter the Lord more intimately and to rediscover the joy of their consecration. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pause, listen, and be renewed in spirit.

As the retreats concluded, the friars returned to their communities strengthened in their fraternal bonds and renewed in their missionary commitment. The Province gives thanks for this time of blessing and looks forward to carrying its fruits into daily life and ministry
